So, let's talk about your curriculum vitae.

Does it actually show who you are? Your real zone of genius, what drives you, what you're good at beyond the job title?

Because most of what makes you brilliant never shows up on LinkedIn anyway.

And that's a missed opportunity. For you, and for the people trying to figure out if they want to work with you.

We all know people who are school-smart and others who never did too great at school, but are life-smart, street-smart, emotionally brilliant, creatively unstoppable. Yet we keep measuring intelligence and success within narrow boxes: grades, degrees, salaries, job titles, career ladders.

And honestly, that's painfully limiting. We're underselling ourselves as a species.

Curriculum Vitae literally means "course of life." Not course of work. Not course of education. Life.

So what would your CV look like if you included everything that actually shaped you? Your resilience. Your survival skills. Your intuition. The lessons learned from failure. The weird talents. The passions. The dreams you'd never dare put on LinkedIn.

Spoiler: it would be pretty damn impressive.

Your zone of genius is almost never captured by professional lingo. It shows up in how you solve problems, how you read a room, how you make people feel seen, how you create movement where others feel stuck.

And when you stop pre-censoring yourself and start being clearer about who you actually are, something shifts. Not just in how others see you. In how you see yourself. Clarity isn't dangerous. It's magnetic. It attracts opportunities, collaborations and people that actually fit you.

So maybe it's time to dust off that CV. Not to impress a recruiter. But to ask yourself honestly: does this still reflect who I am? What would I add if I could? What have I learned, survived, built, felt, figured out, that never made it onto the page?

You don't have to throw out the professional version. Just make it a little more you. A few more glimpses of the real person behind the job titles. That's where the interesting conversations start. For both sides.

I bet nobody ever really asked you these questions. And honestly, I love this part. Watching people rediscover their hidden gems. Not from their rational and critical thinking mind, but from their hearts and their spirits.
